Tuesday of Premiere Week Finally!

Okay, so I have been slacking with blogging on last week's premieres. So here goes, this is the best I can do with it being a week ago. I promise to keep up better after this. I hate getting behind. I am really trying to catch up, but like I said before this is not my job, as much as I would like it to be. And this week has been very demanding with my job. I hope to have Wednesday and Thursday up either later tonight or tomorrow. And then Friday I hope I can get this week done. And after that I hope to update each day. I am just getting into this blogging thing, and will get you the info faster hopefully. Just bare with me and stay tuned...

90210- Addicted per usual. I am into the teen drama thing. I do find it amazing at what is going on in high schools. Granted I know that a lot of the things going on in West Beverly High really is happening in high schools across the nation. However, I was in high school merely 6 years ago, and I do not remember it being anything like that. And I was even in high school after the original 90210 and that was pretty hot and heavy too. That being said, I did like the portrayal of Annie thinking that it was "the" night. That was one of the most realistic high school moments I have seen in a high school drama. High school girls, often think the guy they are with are the one, and that it is the perfect night. When in fact after the fact she realized that it was not the night and not what she wanted.

Annie did amazing on stage filling in for Adrianna in the school play. Although, who did not see that coming. Adrianna's drug problem, has been around since the premiere, when she owed money to the dealer and stole the money from Naomi. Although in this episode we did get to see into the root of Adrianna's drug use. Her mother is hounding her to make it big again. Her mother inviting pretty much all of Hollywood to opening night is what caused Adrianna to dive right back into drugs. She was doing so well practicing with Brenda and getting it down. I truly believe that she could have been amazing too. Sad...but it happens in real life too. I mean do not get me wrong I know that 90210 is not really what American High School is, but there are some schools just like it.

I am absolutely loving the Silver/Dixon relationship. So cute! And I love how it is portraying Silver as the lead in the relationship. And while she is in the lead, that does not mean she wants to jump in his pants. Despite her being aggressive she is not a whore, which is refreshing. In recent years, when a female is portrayed as aggressive it means she wants sex. So I am in love with this pairing. I loved when Dixon and Silver were making out, and he starts going on about how he doesn't have a condom. How it was in his wallet for four years and the night he give it away, so funny and classic. Then loved how Silver was like we're gonna take it slow.

While the relationship with Silver and Dixon is heating up, another relationship in the elite zip code is fizzling. The relationship of course is the relationship between Naomi's parents. Naomi can not come to grasp that her parents are over. There are two reasons I like this storyline. One being that divorce is something that 50% of families in the US experience, and denial is a main way that children deal with the divorce of their parents. Reason two, this storyline is true 90210 fashion, anyone who watched the original knows that almost all of the parents in the elite zip code were divorced. If I remember correctly the only family that was not divorced was the Walsh's and they were the implant family from Minnesota.

The Mentalist-LOVE this show! It does kind of fall into the stereotypical crime drama. It is a guy who is good at reading people and figuring out crime. It reminds me a little bit of Monk, without the OCD. That may be why I like it though, I love Monk! It was a classic crime too, it was a missing child and the father pleading for his daughter to come back. Only to find that the father had killed child, and then the mother throws the twist in there, and when she puts two and two together, she shoots him. I did not see that one coming. But all in all this is a must see, and receives two thumbs up from Nikki. And if you haven't read it was the number 1 new drama on TV. So stay tuned and if you didn't catch it last week (or this week seeing as Tuesday has past), no need to worry, it's a show you can catch up in, because the plot changes every week. So I highly recommend this one.

Law and Order: SVU- So it took me a whole week but I figured out my number one question while watching this show, who the hell is the new ADA and what other show is she on. In case you were wondering the same thing, she plays Lindsay on One Tree Hill. Speaking of the new ADA not sure I like her, in fact so much so that I can not recall her name. So I will let you know my feelings as the season goes on.

All in all I loved this episode. Twisted as it was, loved it. Luke Perry played the foster dad to this little boy who claimed to be abused. The abuse first came out that it was making him eat his veggies, then was his foster mom was taking him to a place where they made him undress and gave her money. Well the twist came out that, the little boy was actually the son of a rape victim that Olivia had years ago played by Sarah Gilbert. Well the story got even more twisted and long story short Luke Perry's character was a sick twisted man.

He raped his wife before she was his wife, and then stepped in to repair her lock and be her rock. From there he raped several more women, including Sarah Gilbert's character. And yes he was raising her son as well. Like I said sick and twisted. This storyline was wonderfully woven, and makes me excited for this season. As the seasons go on and on, you have to wonder if they will find new stories or ways to use old stories. This was a way to use an old story and twist it into a new story. Fabulous, loved it. Two thumbs up on this season! Must watch!!

Without a Trace- So apparently I was not caught with this show when it started. I believe it fell victim to something else I watched last year or something not exactly sure. I was clueless as to why Jack was no longer in charge of the agents, the head agent if you will. Steve Weber is now that guy, and I do not know his name yet either. I mean I have a lot of TV to watch and I couldn't get all the characters down pack yet, plus not sure I like him either. I mean Jack was the man, and yes Jack is still around, but he needs to be the head agent. I wish I knew why he wasn't, and that will take some research on my part. I will get there and I will report back after next weeks episode. So I didn't like how Jack was basically the office bitch, and that distracted me from the episode and I can barely tell you much about it. So as much as I love this show, I can't say for sure if I will be watching at the end of the season. It was a busy week, and I do not want to judge the whole season on this episode, so I will stick it out a couple of episodes and figure out if I still love it with Jack not in the head spot. And I do love Steven Weber, miss him in Side Order of Life, which was axed wayyy to early. So stay tuned...

Biggest Loser- So I find something to be true...I always find myself eating crap when I am watching Biggest Loser, maybe it is supposed to be like yo stop eating that crap. It just makes me feel like crap and want to work out while I watch the show. Anyhow this was the second episode of the season, and it was the week 2 slump. In every season thus far the second week has been quite a slump. They had them place bets on who would lose certain percentage of weight loss for $10,000, which no one won.

Loved the challenge this week, it was a fun way to add in exercise. They had HUGE water slides down the hill and you have to walk up and down the hill. It was hard, these individuals work hard. Rocco also made his appearance this week to do a food challenge. Which I loved, he has the teams split into the cooks and the non-cooks. The non-cooks thinking they have it sweet and they will be the taste testers...NOPE. He has the non-cooks cooking and the cooks as the taste testers.

They Gray Team ended up going home and as always looked fabulous as they gave us a shot forward. This show truly is an inspiration. Although the product placement is getting OLD. So stay tuned to see the transformations right in frong of your eyes.

NCIS- So last season ended and we were left pondering what was going to happen to our beloved NCIS crew. They were all reassigned and we were left with Gibbs having a whole new team, which made Abby miserable. So we are watching as Gibb's new team is at work and not very good at it may I add, and seeing where everyone else is in their new assignments. We learn though that this new team is a setup to see which one is the spy. It was crazy, it was a rollercoaster, and I loved it. Scary that the real spy is still out there, but glad the gang should be back. I would love to write more about this episode because I loved it so much, but time is a ticking and I need to catch up. So I will devote more time later to the exciting episodes to come.
