I had a realization today, I watch entirely too much TV. I sat down to make a list of the shows I watch...with just the shows that are premiering in January and February, I watch 21 shows. That only includes 3 new shows. That is a lot of TV. No wonder this never worked before, I definitely bit off more than I could chew. So with the new plan that I am not going to recap every single show I watch, will hopefully help this run more smoothly.
If I have any readers out there, I will provide a list of all the shows I watch. If there is a show you want me to talk a little more about let me know...

Who Do You Think You Are?
I do not watch everything on the night it airs, there are times I stream it on my tv or online the next day. So if it is not up right away that is the reason.
I probably won't write much about The Bachelor because Reality Steve, has that covered. I may write a little, but not much really.
My newest obsession is Glee, I caught up on it in the last week. Watching all 32 episodes from Season 1 and Season 2 so far. This weekend I am hoping to catch up on all tv and be current. I will update then...

No toe tag yet
So I had really great intentions when I started this blog, and felt it was a fantastic idea...in fact I still do. I am going to give it one more shot before I put the toe tag on it. I have recently found that writing is therapeutic and want to do it more.
So I am going to give this one more shot, and with a more realistic idea behind it. I still watch an insane amount of TV, and love certain shows. However, I am a full-time grad student and I work, so I am not going to be able to write huge summaries of every show. I will select a few shows a week to highlight.
I am going to go through the fall line-up, figure out what is available online, or through my huluplus, from there I will make a list of the shows I will continue to follow. I know I am currently a couple episodes behind on Gossip Girl. Luckily this semester will aide in my getting back into writing...I only have class one night a week, and have two online classes. So I am going to attempt to get this back to where I want it to be.
I am also thinking of starting a second blog, which I know is a little ambitious for someone who can't even keep up with this one. However, I have a great idea for one...and if it's not a copy of something already out there and popular I am going to try to tackle that one too. It is similar but different, but if I start it I am going to link these two.
So if you were once a reader...or a new reader stumbling by, I will get back into this. Mark my words...you will see my insight into the television world...well opinion that is.

Finales are over...
This is a sad time in the world of TV...many series had bid farewell. Some for a few short months, some forever. Some finales leave you wanting more, and gripping your seat for next season...while others tie it up in a nice bow. Cliffhangers always get me...I do not want to have to wait 3 months to find out if it did or did not happen, if so and so died, etc. I prefer things tied up in a bow...now let's be serious, that does not make for great TV...but I still want it that way! As all of my Fall shows have closed for the summer, I am picking up my summer season. However, I want to spend some time with you all, and go into the finale season and what it all means. Well more what it means to me, and how I feel. I hope that you too hope and feel the same thing.
It is really late at the moment, so this is not going to be long and go into all of the finales and my thoughts. Just general thoughts to the finales, one liners to think about. Cheers and Jeers, that are too loud in my head to quiet.
Like my biggest Jeer of the finale season...if your show is going off the air forever, tie it up. If you were not sure if you were getting picked up for a new season...tie it up in a nice bow. I was one of the few loyal fans to FlashForward...I loved it, and if you read back to the beginning of the fall season, I picked it as one of my top picks. Yes it was slow at points, but I think the concept was great and it had probably about 3 seasons in it. It was not a Law and Order, that could go for 20 seasons. However, I feel it had a good 3 seasons in it. In fact, I am hoping for a movie to tie up the things it opened in the finale.
They were oh so nice to tie up some of storylines, yet in tying them up, they opened up about 500 more. I guess this just plays into one of my biggest pet peeves. Like The Proposal for instance. Great movie up until the last 5 min, it left me wanting more to know more about the characters. Some people think that is great entertainment, for me it pisses me off. If I am going to invest my time and money into it, I want it to leave me not asking 7000 questions. Life doesn't just end at the end of a series or a movie, but there has to be some kind of idea how life goes on.
In FlashForward, I have not a damn clue. So the second flashforward happened and it was New Year's Eve 2015 I believe. What the hell, you are just gonna stop there. Who did Charlie say they found...I want to know. And where did the double agent Janis get taken to. You know one of the people in charge of the blackout had her taken during blackout, and what about the baby. I want more, and unless my idea of a movie comes to life, which I highly doubt, I am gonna be asking questions for a long time.
My other top pick of the fall was The Good Wife, which I LOVE. And so happy it was picked up, but damn you for leaving me as Alicia is deciding Peter or Will. Who will she pick, and does this mean. I'm not sure she loves Peter anymore, but she has two kids. Is will really going to look past the lust and the what if, and realize that they are not in college any longer, and that life happened since then. Alicia has kids, and soccer games, and homework to deal with. It is not that simple. Things are simple when you are in college and you try to steal your classmates girl. There is no extra baggage...or at least not as much.
So I guess kudos to them for having me wanting more, and ticking off each day on the calendar until season premiere time. Yet, I can still be a little peeved because I want to know now.
You know a good example of Series Finales...Ghost Whisper. While we are not yet sure that it was for sure a series finale, ABC is reportedly looking to give it some good ol' CPR and have it live on ABC. However, just in case it is not revived...it tied things up, yet leaving you wanting to know more too. It was done so well. We figured out what the shinys were, we found resolution with them. Aidan is using his powers, and becoming his mom's hero by saving her. It was so good, so damn good. I just cannot believe it was axed. Friday is the toughest day of the week, and it was winning its time slot. Seriously, we cut the top of the pack. And move Big Bang Theory to Thursday. CBS is taking super risks for the fall...either they have some great new blood in their pickups, or there is something funky in their water over there at CBS.
So Grey's and Private Practice...they left me feeling and wanting more. And just trying to come to graps to what really happened. I am not going to lie and say I was completely shocked at everything that happened. To me some of it was so predictable...other stuff did in fact shock the hell out of me. I still loved both and will go more into them at some other time.
Those are the finales that are on my mind and have been. There is more, but getting this out will let me sleep, and it is 4am and I do need to sleep. So look for more, and look for it to appear more frequently. I will tie up finale thoughts and ideas and theories, but also write about my summer show. Most are reality shows, so deal with it. I do watch some scripted shows in the summer, like Army Wives and Royal Pains. It also appears that networks are getting on the summer scripted series wagon. So we will see what I pick up.

I've been away far too long
I have been sitting for months, saying that I needed to start writing in here again. I watch just as much if not more TV than I ever have. Being unemployed with nothing to fill your days does that to you. I lie I'm employed but the most I can work every day is 4 hours, so it still leaves me a lot of time to watch TV. I just haven't been able to sit down and get my thoughts down for all of my shows. However, I totally should have because I made some great guesses for my shows and they are working out to be true. I totally called Lily being sick on Gossip Girl, and knew that Janis was a double agent. I also figured out Dell was the one dying on the season finale of Private Practice.
I do not have any insider info, I just am good at picking up things that most people don't. However, I will admit that I totally did not see George being the patient on Grey's when he was hit by the bus last year. I just like TV, and pay attention and enjoy escaping into that world. So I really want to try and give my opinions and guesses to the free world. Or maybe just the random person or two who happens to pass by my blog.
So my plan to get this back and running, will be blogging about finales as a way in. That way I really have no timeline, because well they aren't coming back for a couple of months! So this will let me ease back into this. I also may decide on a different layout. Instead of summing up every single show I watch, I may give a thought or two about every show, and then a focus on one show for each day of the week. We'll see how it works out, especially seeing as I will be back in school in the fall. Instead of watching TV and writing blogs, I will be in class and writing papers. I hope to have time to watch and write. I need the outlet and I miss it. So bare with me as I try and revant this blog and make it what I always visioned it to be! Be back soon with my opinions on the shows that got canned and the shows that got a second life. As well as the finales and thoughts onto where they go next season.

Plans for my blog and top 2 New Fall TV picks
So I probably have no faithful readers, and I do not blame you...I barely write in here. However, the plan is for that to change. Most shows are starting to go on hiatus, so I have time to catch up for the second half of the season. Unfortunately, I do not watch all the shows I used to. I have moved and do not have the DVR any more. So I rely on what I can catch on live TV or online. Sadly, we are not to the stage where all the shows are then showed online. It is very sad for me...I miss Big Bang Theory most out of all the shows I've had to chop of the list.
So my plan is while the shows are on hiatus, I will recap the seasons and give my opinions and all that jazz. Hopefully come January, I will be back in an apartment of my own and be able to be back on my normal TV schedule. Monday's after today, I'm not sure what I will be able to watch. It's been Dancing with the Stars thus far, and today is it. I'm on the Kelly fan team. I love Kelly Osbourne, I remember the train wreck that she was on the MTV series, and she looks amazing now. Good for her to finally get her life in order. Tuesday are dedicated to Biggest Loser, I absolutely love that show. And of course one of my top two picks of best new shows on TV this Fall, The Good Wife. Wednesday there isn't much I watch, mainly just Law and Order: SVU, and then of course the reality lover in me, watches the Ruins on MTV. Thursday is my favorite day, because I get to catch up on One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl online, and then watch FlashForward (my other pick for best new show on TV this fall), Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice. Friday I watch Ghost Whisper when I can and Ugly Betty. Sunday's are Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Desperate Housewives.
On top of those, I try to catch the WE Wedding shows on Sundays. TLC has a new Wedding show about Vegas, which is pretty good. Also, I try to catch For the Love of Ray J, Tough Love, Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew. The shows that are like a train wreck you just have to watch. Also with working evening, I have been watching a good bit of daytime TV as well. I love the View when I can catch it, Rachael Ray, sometime Dr. Phil (not his biggest fan) and then Oprah.
So now onto my two favorite new shows of the season:
The Good Wife: So the cast is just amazing, Julianna Margulies is just phenomenal in this show. She waited for the right part post-ER. I could not imagine any other actress playing this role. She is feisty yet classy, LOVE it. Chris Noth was a great casting as well for the jailed former State's Attorney in the middle of a public sex scandal. Graham Phillips was casted as their son, and I have never seen him in anything else, he has a small acting resume previous to this role. However, I think he is just great. The storyline with him trying to be the man of the house and protect his mother since his father is away in prison, it's just perfection. I sound like I am just raving about this show and that it could do no wrong, but honestly so far so good. I am hooked, and have gotten a few others hooked to it as well. The writing just amazing, and the acting goes it justice. The only thing is I hope it doesn't get too predictable. So far, Alicia Florrick (Margulies) comes in like a superhero lawyer. She gets the case and makes it swing in her way. The last episode had me guessing a little, so kudos for that. I just hope that it's not every week that Alicia is succeeding and doing no wrong, that can make for boring watching.
FlashForward: This is so not a show I would normally be into. It's to me looks like the network's Lost replacement, since Lost is heading into its final season. The network needed a show that people were always talking about, and trying to figure it out. I never got into the Lost Craze, but I am definitely head first into this FlashForward Craze. Trying to figure out who, what, where, how? And honestly I am no further in figuring it out today as I was after the first episode. I find myself not only watching the airing on Thursday night on TV, but watching it again online because I want to see if I missed something. Great new show, and awesome casting. It is a very eclectic bunch, but the chemistry is definitely there.
I promise I will be updating this more. I need a good hobby like this to help as I wait for the phone to ring from possible employers. So I will be back soon to update everyone. So then I can truly be the TV Proxy, who watches TV so you don't have to.

Long Hiatus...New Beginning
I know I probably have no more readers out there. However, I am gonna start up for the summer, and revamp for the fall. I watch a few shows that are airing this summer, so this will be easier than I what I was trying to do. I tried to recap all the shows I watch, and well for anyone who knows me personally I watch A LOT of TV. So here's the deal, I will highlight some shows every week, because they are fav shows. I will highlight other shows if there was a good episode, and if you request a show I will do my best to highlight that one as well.
So for the summer...I watch...drum roll please...Army Wives, So You Think You Can Dance, The Bachelorette, Charm School with Ricki Lake, and Daisy of Love. I watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 when I can catch the reruns since it is on when The Bachelorette is and right now I do not have my DVR.
So my views on the shows thus far, and I promise you updates at least once a week! Probably more...let's be serious. I am currently unemployed, so I sit at the computer looking for jobs all day and sending out resumes. I need a break from time to time, and writing an update of my fav shows will probably be a good break.
So here goes...skip through and read the shows you like...
Army Wives
Army Wives is in it's third season on Lifetime, and I absolutely love this show. I dated a soldier back in the day and this is the life I could have lead had things worked out. So while I cannot fully understand being an Army wife, I was an Army girlfriend. However, Sunday was the second episode of the season, and I am not a big fan yet of this season.
The things I like are just too damn predictable so I'm not fully into it. Like Betty's (the bar), I was a big fan of the bar when it was the Hump Bar. Now I know that that Hump Bar needed changing after what happened there, but the bar lost character. I personally enjoy going to bars like the Hump Bar rather than Betty's. Betty's is more like an eatery and such. I mean hell it even has a cappachino machine. So now we bring in the new chick, that for the life of me I cannot remember her name, and I did not take notes because I was not expecting to be updating. It was a decision I just made today. The new chick from what I can tell is not an Army wife, however the are leading her in like she is gonna be more of a regular. I guess Betty wasn't an Army wife either, but I don't know. This new chick though it was obvious as soon as Roxy knocked out the guy that tried to steal her purse that she was gonna help Roxy save the bar some way some how.
I am glad that Frank is okay, that would have left too many open ends if he would have died. We saw I believe it was last season about the wife of a soldier killed that his wife had maybe 30 days to move out. If Frank would have died, Denise would have had to leave and we would have so many questions. Not too sure if Frank is going to keep Denise around, apparently the first thing he asks her when he comes in the door is, "Is it true?" referring to the rumor of her sleeping with a patient. Which we all know she did. I have laughed I was looking for Army Wives spoilers, which I couldn't find unfortunately; and I found so many people commenting on Denise's affair. The funny part was that they were not commenting on her cheating on a soldier deployed, or commenting about how Frank treated Denise, they were commenting oh what it would be like to have sex with a man without any legs. For those not up to speed, Denise had sex with a soldier patients who had lost his legs.
I think there is great potential for this storyline, just not too sure where it is going. Before Frank left, him and Denise were separated. Most people while separated think that sleeping with other people is okay. Frank did not understand that Denise was changing, she was becoming a strong woman. Unfortunately for Denise, it took all of her experiences to realize that at the end of the day she really loves Frank. So I am excited to see where this goes, but worried that it will not live up to its potential.
So we also are living the struggles of Claudia Joy in this episode. Michael left for Brussels and his NATO job, while Claudia Joy stayed behind with Emmalin. On a side note, what where the writer's thinking with that name, does not fit a rebel teenager. I am shocked that no one in this whole Holden's moving to Brussels storyline, Amanda is burried in Fort Marshall. I'm suprised they want to leave Amanda behind. It's been a year or so since her death. I know I am not a mother, but I'm not too sure I could not only move, but out of the country while my daughter is burried at Fort Marshall. I am looking forward to where this storyline is going too, there is no way they are taking the Holden's out of the picture, no way in hell.
I feel bad for Roland he seems to be struggling with being an Army husband. I love this storyline, because people forget that there are women in the military and there are men out there who give up their lives to be an Army husband. He just seems to really be struggling and Joan is deploying soon. From the rumors I hear, she is being deployed because the actress playing Joan, Wendy Davis, had an inappropriate relationship with a married soldier while they were on base doing a promo. Apparently, the real Army wives are not too happy with her, and to make them happy they are giving her time off while deployed. However, as we see with Frank even though he is deployed we see him.
Another reason I love the Roland/Joan storyline is, that this is something that is happening more and more often. Woman are giving birth to their children and being deployed. They are missing the precious moments of first steps and words. I know they sign up to be a soldier, it is just sad. Especially in this time of war we are in, we have been at war for years. It is nice to see it, so that people know what is really happening.
So all in all Army Wives has had a verrrrrry slow start. While I am looking forward to storylines, I just hope they play them out right, and a little bit faster. I don't want to have to can a show in the summer, there is nothing really on TV in the summer.
So You Think You Can Dance
All I can say about the Top 20 week 1, is WOW!! SYTYCD is stepping it up. Year after year, we see that in the Top 2o they pick dancers from every genre, and because of that there are always some weaker dancers who make it to the Top 20. Weak in comparison to the competition in the Top 20. Seriously, this first week it was amazing dance after amazing dance. The bottom three were not surprises really at all. I guessed who would go home and I am one for one. However, I am not too sure that I can make that happen again. I have to admit I have not watched SYTYCD since Season 1. I picked it up I believe in Season 2 or 3. This is the first time I can remember that this early in the game, it is truly going to depend on their dances week by week. Before there were dancers who skirted by on their popularity, while some of the other weaker dancers left. I am truly looking forward to this season and how amazing it can be. This week I will break it down more than I am now, right now I am just giving my quick thoughts. I also want to say for anyone out there who doesn't know me well, I have no training in dancing. So I will be commenting completely on performance, not really technique. In the past season, I have picked up some stuff, I can tell you when someone has good or bad lines, and some techniques are obvious. I took one dance class in my life, and that was in college. I took a social and ballroom dancing class. However, that by no means gives me any true knowledge.
I just want to highlight some of my favorite dances of the night though...I enjoyed Phillip and Jeanine's hip hop to start off the night. Caitlin and Jason's Bollywood was amazing! I mean they had some pretty big shoes to fill. This is only the second Bollywood number in the show's history, and last season it was the number one and two who danced it, and it was amazing. Jeanette and Brandon's Foxtrot was beautiful, Brandon's strength in some of the lifts were just amazing. I also enjoyed Melissa and Ade's Contemporary. Actually I could go on and on and on. And the Samba to end the night with Kayla and Max was so good. I will talk more about the contestants and the dances this week! I will be taking notes and making comments. This will get better and better and by fall it will be the place to be for updates, comments and recaps of your (well my) favorite shows.
The Bachelorette
I do not even know where to begin with this one. So I am going to start even before this season explain myself and then go from there. Here's the story, I like spoilers and typically fight the urge but I search for them. Last season on the Bachelor, I searched for spoilers. I at this time found RealitySteve.com and my whole Bachelor/Bachelorette watching changed. Now before you go to RealitySteve, he is not a spoiler site. He gives his funny recaps of the show, as well as some other reality shows. He stumbles onto information and if he sees fit he reveals it. In my opinion he is very credible, he was right on last season with the Melissa/Molly switch that was going to happen. Now I have to admit before I found RealitySteve on the net, I was frustrated with the show because let's be serious it was not providing relationships it was just drama. However, I still believed that at least some of it was real. Now I am not too sure if there is anything real on the show. I believe that the people are real, because they are not robots, but I believe a lot of it is scripted. So now I watch for entertainment value not reality. It to me is more like that movie Lifetime aired Dating Ryan Banks. The movie was based on a dating show. And to me the dating show is just that just another scripted sitcom.
I was pissed last season with the whole finale, After the Final Rose thing. Like super pissed, not because I thought that Melissa and Jason were in love, but because even scripted that is HORRIBLE to do. When it's a 100% scripted show, you read the script as does everyone else and they know everything. Well, while I do feel there are scripts to this "reality" I still believe that not everyone gets in on it. So in the end they really are hurting people's feelings. So it's like a really bad episode of Punk'd. So this season I am watching differently, and I don't know how I did not see it coming.
There are guys I like on the show, but I question if that is really their personalities. This week with Ed leaving, come on give me a break. As RealitySteve said today in his article, it was great foreshadowing. I recommend you read RealitySteve, but here is my warning; you will watch the show different, and today he did put spoilers in there. He happened upon information and there is stuff in there. I am not going to write it in here, because I have not made decision on whether or not I will add spoilers in my stuff. I may at some point in the fall, and do posts that are just spoilers that I have found, that way you can read that post or not. So if you want to know what is happening with the show this season check out his blog.
All I can say about this week's elimination was like DUH! Jillian didn't even need a cocktail party, she knew Mark had to go. There was no shock there, I mean obviously she had doubts about him, that why last week he went on the two-on-one. He just edged out Mikey because, Mikey was too cliche. I am looking forward to just watching this drama unfold.
Oh yea last night in the previews they made it sound like one of the men in the final 3 had some performance issues in the bedroom during the fantasy suite dates. However, my thought is that for what I believe the first time in show's history someone turns down the fantasy suite. Jillian made some comment about wishing she had the time to really know, and crying (shocking I know, that's all she seems to do). So that is my guess.
Charm School and Daisy of Love
Do not judge me for watching these, they are like watching a train wreck. I know full well it would better not to watch, but I can't help it. I laugh at it, and find entertainment in it. I just watched last night's Charm School and that is just a hot mess. They were hammering screws, and then the drama about who is leaving. I mean seriously I wish I could do these tasks to win $250,000. The sad part is one I would never go on a dating show for Flavor Flav, Bret Michaels or Real and Chance who wanted to date New York who wanted to date Flavor Flav; and two I have more class in my pinky finger than these women, or at least the way they ask.
Or they are smarter than me, because they are now making thousands of dollars to do appearances. The dating shows I think are drama filled...and the softer side of me think that Charm School has its good in it. Just this week Ashley talked about how much of a bitch she was on Rock of Love, and Marcia is truly trying to kick alcohol. Sadly, I think she is just learning that she is an alcoholic and it may not be as easy as she thinks.
I never say Bay Bay Bay on her show, I just saw her starting with Charm School. She is becoming my favorite. Although, I really do think she has her shit together, and that Charm School may not really be helping her much. My hopes for winning are Bay Bay Bay or Marcia.
Daisy of Love was just funny, Fox was dumb as hell. I'm glad he is gone, him talking made me feel like I was losing brain cells. And who the hell gives all of their friends and girlfriend the number to the mansion you are staying at while trying to date another girl. I mean even if you didn't give it to your girlfriend, all your friends have it, and they know you have a girlfriend. I mean seriously, but again this is probably scripted drama. Or maybe it is just drama that happens because these people are just train wrecks who create drama.
Okay that's this week in my summer tv watching. I will comment on Jon and Kate Plus 8 either in a separate post or in my next recap. I do not have the energy to go into that. That in itself is a long post. So happy tv watching...Check in next time for my views and recaps as the TV Proxy, I watch TV so you don't have to.
Tuesday of Premiere Week Finally!
Okay, so I have been slacking with blogging on last week's premieres. So here goes, this is the best I can do with it being a week ago. I promise to keep up better after this. I hate getting behind. I am really trying to catch up, but like I said before this is not my job, as much as I would like it to be. And this week has been very demanding with my job. I hope to have Wednesday and Thursday up either later tonight or tomorrow. And then Friday I hope I can get this week done. And after that I hope to update each day. I am just getting into this blogging thing, and will get you the info faster hopefully. Just bare with me and stay tuned...
90210- Addicted per usual. I am into the teen drama thing. I do find it amazing at what is going on in high schools. Granted I know that a lot of the things going on in West Beverly High really is happening in high schools across the nation. However, I was in high school merely 6 years ago, and I do not remember it being anything like that. And I was even in high school after the original 90210 and that was pretty hot and heavy too. That being said, I did like the portrayal of Annie thinking that it was "the" night. That was one of the most realistic high school moments I have seen in a high school drama. High school girls, often think the guy they are with are the one, and that it is the perfect night. When in fact after the fact she realized that it was not the night and not what she wanted.
Annie did amazing on stage filling in for Adrianna in the school play. Although, who did not see that coming. Adrianna's drug problem, has been around since the premiere, when she owed money to the dealer and stole the money from Naomi. Although in this episode we did get to see into the root of Adrianna's drug use. Her mother is hounding her to make it big again. Her mother inviting pretty much all of Hollywood to opening night is what caused Adrianna to dive right back into drugs. She was doing so well practicing with Brenda and getting it down. I truly believe that she could have been amazing too. Sad...but it happens in real life too. I mean do not get me wrong I know that 90210 is not really what American High School is, but there are some schools just like it.
I am absolutely loving the Silver/Dixon relationship. So cute! And I love how it is portraying Silver as the lead in the relationship. And while she is in the lead, that does not mean she wants to jump in his pants. Despite her being aggressive she is not a whore, which is refreshing. In recent years, when a female is portrayed as aggressive it means she wants sex. So I am in love with this pairing. I loved when Dixon and Silver were making out, and he starts going on about how he doesn't have a condom. How it was in his wallet for four years and the night he give it away, so funny and classic. Then loved how Silver was like we're gonna take it slow.
While the relationship with Silver and Dixon is heating up, another relationship in the elite zip code is fizzling. The relationship of course is the relationship between Naomi's parents. Naomi can not come to grasp that her parents are over. There are two reasons I like this storyline. One being that divorce is something that 50% of families in the US experience, and denial is a main way that children deal with the divorce of their parents. Reason two, this storyline is true 90210 fashion, anyone who watched the original knows that almost all of the parents in the elite zip code were divorced. If I remember correctly the only family that was not divorced was the Walsh's and they were the implant family from Minnesota.
The Mentalist-LOVE this show! It does kind of fall into the stereotypical crime drama. It is a guy who is good at reading people and figuring out crime. It reminds me a little bit of Monk, without the OCD. That may be why I like it though, I love Monk! It was a classic crime too, it was a missing child and the father pleading for his daughter to come back. Only to find that the father had killed child, and then the mother throws the twist in there, and when she puts two and two together, she shoots him. I did not see that one coming. But all in all this is a must see, and receives two thumbs up from Nikki. And if you haven't read it was the number 1 new drama on TV. So stay tuned and if you didn't catch it last week (or this week seeing as Tuesday has past), no need to worry, it's a show you can catch up in, because the plot changes every week. So I highly recommend this one.
Law and Order: SVU- So it took me a whole week but I figured out my number one question while watching this show, who the hell is the new ADA and what other show is she on. In case you were wondering the same thing, she plays Lindsay on One Tree Hill. Speaking of the new ADA not sure I like her, in fact so much so that I can not recall her name. So I will let you know my feelings as the season goes on.
All in all I loved this episode. Twisted as it was, loved it. Luke Perry played the foster dad to this little boy who claimed to be abused. The abuse first came out that it was making him eat his veggies, then was his foster mom was taking him to a place where they made him undress and gave her money. Well the twist came out that, the little boy was actually the son of a rape victim that Olivia had years ago played by Sarah Gilbert. Well the story got even more twisted and long story short Luke Perry's character was a sick twisted man.
He raped his wife before she was his wife, and then stepped in to repair her lock and be her rock. From there he raped several more women, including Sarah Gilbert's character. And yes he was raising her son as well. Like I said sick and twisted. This storyline was wonderfully woven, and makes me excited for this season. As the seasons go on and on, you have to wonder if they will find new stories or ways to use old stories. This was a way to use an old story and twist it into a new story. Fabulous, loved it. Two thumbs up on this season! Must watch!!
Without a Trace- So apparently I was not caught with this show when it started. I believe it fell victim to something else I watched last year or something not exactly sure. I was clueless as to why Jack was no longer in charge of the agents, the head agent if you will. Steve Weber is now that guy, and I do not know his name yet either. I mean I have a lot of TV to watch and I couldn't get all the characters down pack yet, plus not sure I like him either. I mean Jack was the man, and yes Jack is still around, but he needs to be the head agent. I wish I knew why he wasn't, and that will take some research on my part. I will get there and I will report back after next weeks episode. So I didn't like how Jack was basically the office bitch, and that distracted me from the episode and I can barely tell you much about it. So as much as I love this show, I can't say for sure if I will be watching at the end of the season. It was a busy week, and I do not want to judge the whole season on this episode, so I will stick it out a couple of episodes and figure out if I still love it with Jack not in the head spot. And I do love Steven Weber, miss him in Side Order of Life, which was axed wayyy to early. So stay tuned...
Biggest Loser- So I find something to be true...I always find myself eating crap when I am watching Biggest Loser, maybe it is supposed to be like yo stop eating that crap. It just makes me feel like crap and want to work out while I watch the show. Anyhow this was the second episode of the season, and it was the week 2 slump. In every season thus far the second week has been quite a slump. They had them place bets on who would lose certain percentage of weight loss for $10,000, which no one won.
Loved the challenge this week, it was a fun way to add in exercise. They had HUGE water slides down the hill and you have to walk up and down the hill. It was hard, these individuals work hard. Rocco also made his appearance this week to do a food challenge. Which I loved, he has the teams split into the cooks and the non-cooks. The non-cooks thinking they have it sweet and they will be the taste testers...NOPE. He has the non-cooks cooking and the cooks as the taste testers.
They Gray Team ended up going home and as always looked fabulous as they gave us a shot forward. This show truly is an inspiration. Although the product placement is getting OLD. So stay tuned to see the transformations right in frong of your eyes.
NCIS- So last season ended and we were left pondering what was going to happen to our beloved NCIS crew. They were all reassigned and we were left with Gibbs having a whole new team, which made Abby miserable. So we are watching as Gibb's new team is at work and not very good at it may I add, and seeing where everyone else is in their new assignments. We learn though that this new team is a setup to see which one is the spy. It was crazy, it was a rollercoaster, and I loved it. Scary that the real spy is still out there, but glad the gang should be back. I would love to write more about this episode because I loved it so much, but time is a ticking and I need to catch up. So I will devote more time later to the exciting episodes to come.
90210- Addicted per usual. I am into the teen drama thing. I do find it amazing at what is going on in high schools.
