A Little 411 and Fall Schedule

Some people choose hobbies such a knitting or golf; I on the other hand have chosen television. My love of television has begun to grow into a love of movies as well. Actually, I think the best way to describe my hobby, it is entertainment. While I will use this outlet for mostly television, I can not promise that a movie blog or even a celebrity news blog won't slip in from time to time. I will attempt though to keep it to television as best I can though.

Growing up I watched TV all the damn time, and have watched shows far beyond my years as I grew up. As a kid I watched Days of Our Lives, M*A*S*H, Eight is Enough, Golden Girls, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeanie, I Love Lucy...and well the list goes on. Those are just the shows that filled in the afternoons after I came home from school and through dinner. I also watched TV at night with my family. The shows that stick out in my mind are shows like: Rescue 911, 90210, Fresh Prince, Baywatch, Alf. Oh man and the days of T.G.I.F. on ABC, Webster, Growing Pains, Mr. Belvedere. Full House, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, Step by Step, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch...and the many shows that started and never stayed. Sitting here I can remember those Friday nights. Then making sure to get to bed so I could be up early the next morning for Saved by the Bell, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Hang Time, California Dreams, City Guys.

I wish I could remember the names of all the shows I used to watch, but this is all I can remember off the top of my head. So solely from this, you can already see I watched a lot of TV growing up, and that is no where near a full list. Now I do not want to hear comments that this was poor parenting. While yes I watched a lot of TV, I was also outside riding my bike and playing in the yard. And no I am not a large couch potato who has no friends and no job. Like I said when I started this entry off, this is just my hobby. Would it be awesome to be able to watch TV for my job, yes it would. I mean how many golfers are out there, who are saying man I wish I was Tiger Woods...Hmmm...A LOT!

However, since I have not found a job in the listing, seeking an avid TV watcher, it is just a hobby. I spend a good hunk of my week watching TV, but I am ever so grateful for the invention of a DVR, and yes I still also use a VCR if I need to record 3 things, and will not be home. Which I have to admit, it is a large improvement; I used to let the TV rule my life.

So without further ado, here is my schedule for the Fall...

Well this is my list thus far for the fall season, we'll see how it goes as the season continues. In addition to that TV I do watch repeats and all that jazz. And I am super psyched about Fox Reality Awards! I am addicted to reality TV! Well check back for my views and opinions about the shows I love. Now if you don't see an update about a show you watch, be patient; like I said I have not found a job where I am getting paid to watch TV, so there are times when I do not watch a show until the following day or even a couple days later. NCIS is a good example, I watch it On Demand...so I can not watch it until Wednesday even though it is on Tuesday.

I will write again later or tomorrow after my 2008 Fall Season Love Affair begins in full swing tonight.
